Discover Lancaster University's Great Hall.
The Great Hall is an outstanding shoebox-style concert hall, boasting an excellent natural acoustic for live music and spoken events. The extendable stage can accommodate a +100-piece orchestra or be adapted to fit a seated audience of 800 as seen at graduations. The flexibility of the large floor space and stage area makes it ideal for everything from ballroom dancing to careers fairs. A built-in PA is available and we can offer to make a sound recording of your event for an extra charge. The Great Hall also has drop-down screens, a fine chamber organ (spec on request) and a superb concert grand Steinway piano. Private, secure backstage Green Rooms are available for performers.
Discover the Nuffield Theatre, Lancaster.
The Nuffield Theatre is the largest Black Box Theatre outside of London and has played an important role in the history of British Theatre. The Theatre is used as part of LICA teaching and is a professional public-facing working theatre with an annual calendar of events. Depending on the activity around your event, a raked seating bank is often in place between October and March. Additional opportunities for assistance with staging and production are negotiated separately and directly with LICA Technical staff. Green room facilities are available for performers.

Discover the Peter Scott Gallery.
The Peter Scott Gallery is one of the most special venues on campus and displays and stores the University’s art collections as well as visiting artist’s work. It is an ideal, intimate location for events, performance, workshops, talks, buffets and receptions. As we are a registered museum and professional working gallery, events must work within our public calendar and be respectful of any artwork on display.
