For two months our gallery volunteers worked extremely hard to curate their exhibition 'The Females of the Factory: Women's Contribution to Pilkington's Tiles and Pottery'. We thought you might like to find out a bit more about our volunteer curators. Our sixth blog entry is by Alice Adams.

Volunteering with the Peter Scott gallery and with Live At LICA has been a great experience throughout my time as a Fine Art student at Lancaster University. Giving me first hand experience working with the collection in the gallery, but also a great chance to network with other disciplines and arts enthusiasts outside of my own course and in the local community. Volunteering for LOOK/15 gave me an insight into the trials and tribulations of organising and promoting an exhibition, which was great experience for the future, especially when we begin organising our degree show next year.
