2011 saw us develop Curate the Campus: a strand of outdoor, site-specific and public realm arts activity in which to develop innovative new site-based artworks.
The initiative grows from previous Nuffield Theatre commissioned projects that benefited from significant R&D time in various locations on campus before moving into the city centre and are now being seen nationally at major venues and festivals (Manchester Art Gallery, Bristol Old Vic, Spill Festival, Fierce Festival, Barbican etc).
May 2011 saw a fortnight of events, installations, performances and artists in residence from the likes of Acrojou, Invisible Flock, Juneau Projects, Company Chameleon, imitating the dog, Lancashire Sinfonietta, and artists Laura Muggridge, Manuel Vason, Pete Moser, Rebecca Chesney and S Mark Gubb.

With the help of our Live at LICA ambassadors we attempted to document as much as possible during the fortnight. With thanks to all who helped especially Ben Robbins for the photographs.
