Lancaster Arts’ primary venues are located within the Great Hall Complex (GHC) on the Lancaster University Campus.
Our postcode for Sat Navs is LA1 4YW.
Parking on campus is free after 6pm on weekdays and is also free throughout the entire weekend. If the event is after 6pm or at the weekend you should be able to park easily.
If you are attending an event during weekday working hours (i.e. during school holidays) you will need to pay for parking and demand for spaces is very high.
During weekdays please allow plenty of time to find a car parking space as you may have to park some distance from the venue.
The nearest visitor parking zone for Lancaster Arts is Visitor Parking Zone A on North West Drive and Bowland Avenue. To access this zone, take the first exit at the main roundabout and then continue forward for a hundred yards – the parking spaces are then located on each side of the road. Continue along the ring road to access other parking areas across campus.
You can buy a £5 parking permit when purchasing tickets online, via our box office or at University House. Alternatively, you can use the parking meters which are located across the campus.
Where appropriate there will be a designated store room for you to leave prams.
There are baby changing facilities located within the Great Hall Complex.
The Great Hall Complex was built in 1964 with entrances on multiple levels. As such please be aware that you may occasionally find that accessing certain venues requires those in wheelchairs or with prams to access the venue through set routes. You will be advised on this upon your arrival.
There will be staff to guide you to pram storage spaces on your arrival. Please be aware that you may not be able to take your pram into certain venues or performances.
If you have any concerns or questions before your visit please call our Box Office team on 01524 594151 or email email@example.com
There are plenty of places to eat and drink across the Lancaster University Campus. Our cafe/bar in the Great Hall will be open before, during and after the performance and serves a range of hot and cold drinks.
However, if you are after something to eat we’d recommend MarketPlace for family audiences, located adjacent to our main venues in the Great Hall Complex. Please do ask our staff about other places to eat and drink on campus during your visit.
If you’re attending outside the University’s term some of the listed cafes/restaurants may be closed or have limited opening hours. Please email us if you’d like further advice.
