Bombay Jazz

Add the diverse spices of raga with its melodic richness to the dynamic rhythmic interplay featured in both Indian classical music and jazz; add improvisation and zany harmonic explorations and you have the unique East-West fusion that is Bombay Jazz. A dynamic blend of two of the finest traditions of music, jazz and Indian classical music, Bombay Jazz is made up of four worldclass soloists. Flautist Ronu Majumdar draws breath-taking sounds from the bansuri, a simple bamboo flute. Jazz-rock guitarist Larry Coryell is a master at trading ferocious jazz licks.
