Going to the Chapel (Curate the Campus 2012)
2 Belgians in England invite you to join them in a wedding dance.
2 artists, one married and one unmarried, in full bridal dress, explore the unique moments of the wedding ceremony up to the first dance of the party. It's the moment when two people, who are probably not performers, probably not dancers, perform for an audience. It's the moment when an audience watch something deeply personal that expresses so much about the tastes, desires (and ages) of the happy couple.
The day will feature a series of intimate encounters across the campus. There will be crossing thresholds, throwing bouquets, cutting cake, walking down aisles, slow dancing to love songs, saying I do, and crying, lots and lots of crying.
If they approach you, please say you do!
