Hopeful Monster has been developed through an art practice-led Phd in Sociology, and was funded by the Arts & Humanities Research Council, with additional support from mobilities.lab Lancaster, Sound and Music, and the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, and through residencies at Pervasive Media Stusio, ISIS Arts and Mobile Media Lab, Montreal.
