Nash Ensemble

In a typically imaginative Nash programme, one of Britainís premiere ensembles, two pieces by Hungarians - BartÛkís most popular folk-inspired sounds and Ligetiís delightful Bagatelles, with their swaggering good humour and technical bravado, are featured alongside Rimsky-Korsakovís Quintetñ which begins in classical style ëlike Beethovení,according to the composer ñ and Mozartís characterful Piano Quintet.

This performance is supported by the Friends of Lancaster Concerts
