Accessibility

We warmly welcome D/deaf and disabled patrons. Essential companion tickets are free of charge. Please inform us if you have any access requirements at the time of your booking, and do not hesitate to approach any staff member for assistance. Guide/assistance dogs are welcome.

We recognise the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower should you require additional support, or need a little more time.

You are welcome to wear a face covering if you wish.

The Great Hall Complex was built in 1964 with entrances on multiple levels. As such please be aware that you may occasionally find that accessing certain venues requires those in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility to access the venue through set routes. You will be advised on this upon your arrival.

If you have any concerns or questions before your visit please email boxoffice@lancasterarts.org

Restaurants and Cafes

There are plenty of places to eat and drink across the Lancaster University Campus. The Great Hall bar will be open with a variety of locally sourced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks that you can enjoy on arrival and during the interval.

However, if you are after something to eat we’d recommend the Market Place, located adjacent to our main venues in the Great Hall Complex. Please do ask our staff about other places to eat and drink on campus during your visit.

There is a Wallings Ice Cream shop on campus and a number of locations to can purchase sandwiches, such as WHSmith, Spar, Subway, and the Juice Company. See full outlet listings here.

If you’re attending outside the University’s term some of the listed cafes/restaurants may be closed or have limited opening hours.  Please email us if you’d like further advice.
