Malcolm Doley Memorial Concert

Malcolm Doley Memorial Concert

Concerts

A concert performed by musicians of the Lancashire Schools’ Symphony Orchestra between 1972 and 1995 celebrating the life of Malcolm Doley.

Conductor: Stephen Bell

The orchestra consists of professional players, keen amateurs, and those that have dusted off their instruments for the occasion.

The afternoon's concert will be the climax of a weekend reunion - many meeting for the first time in forty years, and will be held in the memory of Malcolm Doley, the founder, director and conductor of the Lancashire Schools’ Symphony Orchestra from 1970-1995.

All proceeds will be directed to supporting young musicians in the county.
