Join the Artists: Masterclasses and Events 2009/10
The emphasis of this workshop is on manipulation skills - concentrating on the movement and focus of a puppet and on simple improvisation. The character, its thought processes and reactions are developed in various situations, both with one another and with props. The workshops are suitable for those interested to learn some basic puppetry skills and puppeteers wanting to try different techniques.
Max 12 participants
The masterclasses are primarily aimed at artists who want to develop their practice in new areas, and students and recent graduates beginning to define their practice outside of formal training. Masterclasses this season are 3 or 4 hours long, and all are available to book on a first come, first served basis. Check with the box office for the location of the session.
