Keren Cytter/A.P.E.:Show Real Drama

Performance

Show Real Drama is a new live performance written and directed by visual artist Keren Cytter. It tells the story of the lives of two unemployed actors, Susie Meyer and Fabian Stumm, who have recently graduated from the University of Salzburg. It’s a play about how to live, how to act, how to perform and how to love; and explores the relationship between reality and fiction in cinema and theatre.

Cytter known for her experimental videos that reference literary and cinematic classics, co-founded the agency Art Projects Era (A.P.E.) in 2010 to develop plays, dance theatre and performance for live audiences as well as exhibitions and print. Presenting at venues such as Tate Modern and Hebbel am Ufer theater in Berlin,  A.P.E.’s output permeates the traditional borders of cultural disciplines.
