All events listed below are held within the LICA building on Sunday 21 October 2012.

Litfest events (with the exception of John Hegley) are booked via the Dukes Box Office (01524 598500). You can aso purchase tickets to each individual event direct from Litfest.

12.00pm - 1.00pm
Flax Landscapes Commission - Naomi Kruger, Sarah Schofield and Ian Hill
Showcasing three specially commissioned pieces from emerging north west writers
(This is a free event included as part of the celebrations).

1.30 - 2.30pm
And Other Stories present Deborah Levy and Oleg Zaionchkovsky (translated by Andrew Bromfield)
Readings by Deborah and Andrew from their recent publications and a discussion of the unique publishing process.

3.00 - 4.00pm
Rodge Glass and Alan Bissett in conversation
Readings from their related work and a discussion of the crippling pressure of sport and its representation in literature

4.30pm – 5.30pm
Jo Baker and Zoe Lambert  - The Right to Imagine
Readings from their latest work and a discussion of their exploration of war in fiction

6.00pm - 7.00pm
M.J Hyland and Anneliese Mackintosh - The Place of the Short Story
End your celebration of the short story form with two readings and a discussion on the future of the short story.
