LUTG present: Woyzeck

Lancaster University Theatre Group is a large, popular student society which produces a minimum of three shows each term. This winter will see 'Frozen', 'Punk Rock', 'A Little Night Music' and the featured 'Woyzeck'.

'Woyzeck', written by Georg Büchner, will be performed at The Nuffield Theatre on the 9-11 December. As one of western drama's most profound and moving explorations of class and morality, it follows the tragic story of a young soldier's descent into madness. Utilising Daniel Kramer's 2004 adaptation, this performance combines original movement with drama to create a contemporary, thought-provoking spectacle.

For more information about LUTG, email theatregroup@lancaster.ac.uk and find us on Facebook.

There will be an aftershow discussion on the Friday evening.

Despite being amateur, LUTG is a regular churner-outer of acclaimed and admirable drama
