Impermanent Durations: On Painting and Time is an experimental exhibition and collaborative project by four contemporary painters. Working in a range of materials and media, Impermanent Durations explores how painting can offer a site-sensitive experience of time.

Following previous iterations in Melbourne and Singapore, please join us in Lancaster for the opening event and to meet the artists over drinks and refreshments.

This evening coincides with the launch of the Journal of Contemporary Painting issue JCP4.1: 'Painting and Time'. Copies will be available to buy at a special launch price on the evening following a panel discussion featuring the exhibition artists led by Beth Harland and David Ryan, editors of JCP4.1
