The Should We Stay or Should We Go Show

Performance

A brand new play inspired by the latest developments in the UK's European Union referendum debate

What does the outcome of the referendum mean to you? For six people it feels like life or death.

We meet a farmer who's taken his daughter to Greenland because he's scared about the catastrophic climate implications of leaving the EU and wants to settle in the one place where he believes they both can survive.

We meet the ex-finance minister Yanis Varoufakis who suffered more than most at the hands of the EU but, to a train worker who meets him at the airport who was sure Yanis would be the moral voice of leaving, is furious that Yanis has decided to urge remain through his Another Europe is Possible campaign.

And we meet a pair of football fans for whom that night's Germany versus Poland game in the Euros, is much more than just a football match.

This work is presented by The Core at Corby Cube who have teamed up with rapid-response theatre makers Sheriff to present this brand new play inspired by the latest developments in the current EU referendum debate. The play is the first in a series of June roadshow performances leading up to the EU referendum vote on the 23rd June 2016.

This play will take place within The Auditorium at The Storey, Lancaster
