Lancaster Arts hosted an exhibition in the spring of 2023 entitled Objects in Ritual. This was created by everyone who responded to our invitation to lend an object associated with ritual in their own lives. These objects, which ranged from a bottle of moisturiser to a christening cup, were joined by objects from the university art collection.
We hosted three workshops as part of this exhibition, with artists, Will Dickie, Alison Clough and Lowri Evans. This short film describes what the artists did to explore the ideas of ritual.
