In partnership with Lancaster University School of Arts and Fine Art
In person in the Jack Hylton Room, next to the Peter Scott Gallery.

Join us for our free artist conversation programme. Artists making exciting work across a range of media will be joined by researchers or those working in relevant fields to discuss the ideas, themes and questions driving their work. This programme is interactive and we encourage audiences to join in the conversations.

Our third conversation of the season is with Ellie Barrett.

Dr Ellie Barrett is a sculptor, researcher, writer and artist-mother. She has a specialism in socially engaged sculpture, exploring the ways in which new materialist and post-human approaches to physical making can open new pathways to widening participation via material pedagogy. In particular, her projects position children's contributions to the making process as inherently valuable. She is an associate lecturer in fine art at Lancaster University and a director at Good Things Collective.
