LANWest Triple Bill: Greg Foster, Jo Docherty, Sophia Di Martino

LANWest Triple Bill: Greg Foster, Jo Docherty, Sophia Di Martino

Performance

Three exceptional new artists from the North West deliver a triple-bill of quirky, moving and amusing performances.

It's Not As Bad As It Looks is based on Greg Foster's experience of working as a door-to-door salesman in the North West in 2004. Framed around the sales industry he was part of, it attempts to express the cultural and social observations he made while doing this job.

Cosmic comedienne Jo Docherty devised her first solo work, Comedy Graveyard, with Ursula Martinez (performed at BAC and Nuff Said II). Her latest incarnation, Mercurious Morag, was born from a desire to explore our irrational fixation with astrology and the theatricality of fortune-telling, the ability to suspend our disbelief and invest in complete bullshit.

Finding Audrey Cole by Sophia Di Martino. ‚'This is not a rehearsal anymore. Neither is it a reconstruction of an event. I had never met my Mother's Mother. I had no idea what the outcome would be'. An intimate one-to-one performance installation.
