Following the fantastic Alice Bell (Nuffield Autumn 06), audience favourites Lone Twin Theatre are back with a new show co-commissioned by the Nuffield. In Daniel Hit By A Train the company stage 53 true stories. In each story a person loses their life in the attempt to save the life of another.

Amelia Kennedy dies trying to save her sister from their burning house.

Dr Samuel Rabbeth dies trying to clear an obstruction from the throat of a 4-year-old.

Edward Morris dies trying to save the life of his drowning companion.

Famed pantomine artiste, Sarah Smith, dies trying to save her colleague from an on-stage fire.

With a nod to vaudeville, pantomime and the funfair, Daniel Hit By A Train recounts the tales of Thomas Simpson trying to save people from breaking ice on Highgate Pond, famed pantomime artiste Sarah Smith dying whilst trying to save her colleague from an on-stage fire and Frederick Alfred Croft run over by a train when saving a lunatic woman from suicide alongside many other acts of impulsive bravery.
