Zaffar Kunial
Zaffar Kunial was born in Birmingham and is currently Writer in Residence at The Wordsworth Trust in Grasmere, Cumbria. His poem ‘Hill Speak’ won Third Prize in the 2012 National Poetry Competition, and the following year he received a major Northern Writers Award. He is working on a first pamphlet, to be published by Faber & Faber as part of their Faber New Poets initiative. Zaffar studied at the LSE, and has worked as a writer for Hallmark Cards.
