Ockham's Razor present a unique opportunity to experience the devising process of their new show.
The fantastic aerial performance company Ockham's Razor are running our 2011 summer school. The workshop will be a unique opportunity to experience the devising process as the company begin the development of new show Not Until We Are Lost. The week will look at ground based ideas - how to create atmospheres and environments for a promenade audience, how to move and manipulate an audience and the space around them, and how to create different worlds.
Ockham's Razor are an aerial theatre company who specialise in making physical theatre on original pieces of circus equipment. They use the images and relationships inherent in circus movement to devise clear, accessible narratives.
The summer school will be of interest to practitioners and recent graduates from the fields of public realm, outdoor and promenade performance, physical theatre, installation and new circus.
Extended application deadline Monday 18 July 2011.
