Lancaster People’s Cafe 12 - 3pm
A community cafe where people share food that would otherwise go to waste. Lancaster People’s café intercepts good food from retailers, restaurants, and use food from gleaning/waste food networks. The cafe will operate on a Pay-As-You-Feel basis which means that the food is given freely and people donate what they feel it was worth to them, or what they can manage, in cash or in kind. Lancaster People’s café is guided by an interest in social inclusion and a desire to reduce waste within the food system.

Arts Award BYOM community discussion 2pm - 4pm
Lancaster Arts Arts Award students will be asking people to sit down with a cup of tea to discuss the use of ceramics today. Participants will be invited to bring along their favourite mug to temporarily donate to a community display.
