Peter Liversidge’s work begins with a proposal, typed on his Olivetti typewriter. Not all proposals will be realised, some are destined to remain on paper living only in the reader’s mind. Those made real are not bound by any single artistic medium and are brought about with the community and those experiencing the work. Liversidge’s work is realised in almost every conceivable form – from choral pieces, to orchards and text works.
