Explore, create and learn on a Saturday morning with Lancaster Arts!
This tactile, auditory and movement-based workshop with TurnAround Dance will introduce children to the wonderful world of movement. Join our friendly fox on a magical journey through the jungle, and perhaps we’ll discover the mythical Phoenix…
TurnAround Dance Theatre was co-founded in 2014 by sisters Ellen, Grace and Lily Turner. Dancing together since children, the trio have a close and unique bond that helps make their professional work incredibly touching and special. Their most recent work The Thief, the Fox and the Phoenix received rave reviews, and was the companies first outdoor aerial and dance family friendly show. The work received Arts England funding during 2016 and 2017, and will be available for booking October 2017, they recently performed at Lancaster Arts! If you saw the show, why not come along to this workshop!
Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
We will meet in the Great Hall Foyer.
The Café | Bar in the Foyer will be open from 9.30am. Your ticket includes an unlimited supply of Filter Coffee and Breakfast Tea for grown-ups (with the option to ‘upgrade’ to a speciality tea/coffee for £1), and juice and a party bag for children.
