Double-Bill: The Beautiful Miller & A Winter Journey

This is a unique opportunity to hear two beautiful Schubert song cycles that share a common theme and narrative – all in one day. Müller and Schubert never met, and yet their artistic collaboration resulted in these two outstanding pieces of music. Both song cycles take as their theme, wide open spaces and yet the characters struggle for breathing space as they become entangled in their own thoughts and emotions.
