The Great Hall

Lancaster Concerts Series

The Great Hall at Lancaster University is home to the Lancaster Concerts series. Lancaster University has held classical concerts in the Great Hall since 1969 initially directed by Sir John Manduell. Today the Lancaster concert programme is curated by Lancaster Arts. We programme inter/national musicians such as Nicola Benedetti, Roderick Williams & BBC Philharmonic alongside developing emerging artists. Our concert programme also includes contemporary music such as the Manchester Collective and we also commission pieces as well as offering artist support.
